Our processing times for complete paper applications through the mail are 8 business days from the time they are received in the Office of Vital Records. Our online application processing times are 5 business days from the time they are completed and submitted. Records requiring amendments will take longer depending on the nature of the change. Certificates are mailed out using the United States Postal Service's First Class Mail, which does not include shipment tracking.
If you need your records faster or need tracking on your shipment, you are strongly encouraged to utilize the Express Delivery option or to check for walk-in locations near you for current hours of operation.
