It\u2019s\u00a0Not Just a Room Turnover: It\u2019s\u00a0Infection Prevention\u00a0<\/a><\/h2>\t\t\t

Did you know that patients admitted to rooms where the\u00a0previous\u00a0occupant had a multidrug-resistant organism (MDRO) face a\u00a0<\/span>higher risk<\/a><\/span><\/span>\u00a0of\u00a0acquiring\u00a0that same organism? Every day,\u00a0environmental services (EVS)\u00a0professionals work alongside frontline healthcare staff to reduce this risk and protect patients and residents. When we support EVS teams, we strengthen the entire infection prevention system.<\/p>\n

What to Expect\u00a0and How\u00a0to\u00a0Use\u00a0It:\u00a0<\/b>With some EVS staff receiving as little as three days of training, and\u00a083% learning on the job<\/a><\/span><\/span>, education needs to be quick, practical, and built into their daily workflow.<\/p>\n
