In fulfilling this role, Virginia Health Information (VHI) provides transport for all the public health-related Promoting Interoperability Programs (formerly Meaningful Use) messages sent to VDH.<\/p>\n<p>* <strong>Please note:<\/strong> VHI is changing vendors to CRISP Shared Services. Reporters will be expected to transition to CRISP Shared Services by\/before Tuesday, February 28th, 2023. New end points and\/or certificates will be needed. Please contact VHI at <a href=\"mailto:PHRSupport@vhi.org\">PHRSupport@vhi.org<\/a> and\/or VDH at <a href=\"mailto:MeaningfulUse@vdh.virginia.gov\">MeaningfulUse@vdh.virginia.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Two message transport protocols are available through VHI for messages sent to VDH. <strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HTTPS is the preferred protocol. It efficiently supports automated message transmissions.
