Office Services Specialist<\/a><\/p>\n

This position will primarily be based in Winchester, VA. You may be needed to cover in other offices throughout the district. This position is responsible for environmental health and medical office duties. Duties will include (but not limited to): patient eligibility and registration, medical billing and posting of payments, data entry of medical and environmental health applications and completing vital records requests.<\/p>\n

Utilizing established policies and procedures, provides program and office support to a work unit including general office and administrative support. Characteristic duties may include: routine office and administrative responsibilities, scheduling meetings, data entry, routine transactions, preparing correspondence, maintaining records, ordering supplies, and answering questions regarding program services offered.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Warren County<\/h3>\n

Office Services Specialist<\/a> (FOIA \/ Records Management)<\/p>\n

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer service? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team.<\/p>\n

In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for the public by responding to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests in a timely and professional manner. You will identify and gather responsive records, prepare invoices, collect associated fees, and ensure requests are processed accurately and in accordance with applicable laws and policies. Success in this position requires exceptional customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with Environmental Health staff, the Business Office, and other departments. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Shenandoah County<\/h3>\n

Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Coordinator<\/a><\/p>\n

The Lord Fairfax Health District is seeking a Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Coordinator to provide oversight and coordination of the district's volunteer program in support of public health initiatives, emergency preparedness, response, and recovery operations. This position is responsible for recruiting, engaging, training, and retaining MRC volunteers; maintaining regular communication with volunteers, work unit staff, community organizations, healthcare partners, and emergency management agencies; and identifying volunteer resources to support district programs and operations.<\/p>\n

In collaboration with district leadership, program staff, and community partners, the MRC Coordinator assesses volunteer needs and determines appropriate service roles for planned events, public health campaigns, emergency exercises, and incident response activities. The coordinator maintains volunteer readiness through training, credentialing, and record management; coordinates volunteer activation, deployment, and demobilization during emergencies; supports emergency planning, drills, and exercises; and contributes to after-action improvement efforts to strengthen the district's emergency preparedness and response capabilities.<\/p>\n
