flex-direction: row; width: calc(33.333% - 25px);\"\n\t\t>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div\t\t\t\tclass=\"sow-icon-container sow-container-none\"\n\t\t\t\tstyle=\"color: #404040; \"\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"sow-features-feature-title\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tBirth\/Death\/Marriage\/Divorce Records\t\t\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"sow-features-feature-text\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Certified copies of birth, death, marriage, and divorce certificates can be obtained from the Peninsula Health Department, as long as these events occurred in Virginia.\u00a0 Copies of certificates can only be obtained for and by immediate family members with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/content\/uploads\/sites\/93\/2016\/07\/primary.pdf\">valid ID<\/a>: mother, father, husband, wife, child, brother, sister, and\/or grandparents.\u00a0 Grandchild can obtain a death certificate only. \u00a0Aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, etc. cannot obtain a vital record.\u00a0 Birth records can be issued to the legal guardian with proof of custody papers.<\/p>\n<p>Birth records become public information 100 years from the date of the event.
