text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Please note that while some organizations (such as churches, 501(c)(3) organizations, fraternal or school organizations, and volunteer fire and rescue squads) are exempt from this requirement when providing food that is prepared on their organization site,\u00a0<strong>they are required to have a permit<\/strong>\u00a0if the event will be offsite of their organization.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">To apply for a Temporary Food Establishment Permit, submit a completed application (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2017\/02\/Temporary-Food-Establishment-Application-1.pdf\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2017\/02\/Temporary-Food-Establishment-Application-1.pdf&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1662732309812000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1ekuLHCSnPODuJQNe9J5Oe\">found here<\/a>) and fee of $40 to the local health department in which the TFE will be located.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;
