If you think an overdose may be occurring, it is important to act quickly to save a life and call 911 immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Naloxone is a lifesaving medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Naloxone is available as a generic drug or under the brand names NARCAN\u00ae and EVZIO\u00ae.
