VDH’s Crater Health District is a state-city\/county cooperative health service of seven health departments in south central Virginia<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The district begins 23 miles south of Richmond and extends south to the North Carolina state border.\u00a0 In our district, we have more than 160,000 people with varying health needs.<\/p>\n

We work to build resilient communities throughout the cities of Petersburg, Hopewell, and Emporia, as well as the counties of Greensville, Surry, Sussex Dinwiddie, and Prince George.<\/p>\n
