Want to make sure it is installed correctly? The Safety Seat Check Station program provides hands-on education for using safety seats. Education is available from certified technicians for free.<\/p>\n<p>The safety seat check is hands-on and takes 20-30 minutes. Participants will complete a form to provide information about their seat and child. The safety seat is checked for fit to your child, expiration date, and recalls. Remote safety seat checks by video call are available for select areas of Virginia. Areas include counties that do not have a Safety Seat Check Station or are a long drive to a town with a Safety Seat Check Station.
