<\/b>View the 2026 Outreach Network Training Calendar <\/span><\/a><\/span>and pre-register for free trainings<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

WHAT:<\/b>
\n<\/b><\/span>The Blue Ridge Health District\u2019s Outreach Network<\/b> offers FREE<\/i><\/b> trainings and networking events for outreach workers. Trainings are topic specific, so you can attend the ones of interest to you. At networking events, we learn about valuable resources in the District\u2019s localities and connect with other outreach workers. Community Health Workers (CHWs) receive continuing education hours for trainings which can be used toward recertification.<\/p>\n

WHO:<\/b>
\n<\/span>All types of outreach workers are invited to participate in the Outreach Network \u2013 this includes CHWs, family support workers, peer recovery specialists, mobile integrated health, community nurses, engagement specialists, and more! If you work in an outreach role in Albemarle, Charlottesville, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and\/or Nelson, we invite you to participate in this Outreach Network!\u00a0 To participate<\/b>, simply pre-register for any of the upcoming trainings or events using the link provided in the calendar.<\/p>\n

WHEN:
\n<\/b><\/span>Trainings and events occur approximately twice a month. For topics, dates, and times, please visit the Outreach Network calendar.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

WHERE:
\n<\/b><\/span>Most trainings are live, virtual sessions, with some in-person trainings and events held in Charlottesville and Albemarle.<\/span><\/p>\n
